The sessions in Kingsley surgery are ‘fixed’, if a doctor is on holiday generally these sessions will not be booked.

Dr Hall provides the Wednesday morning session in Kingsley every week.  

Appointments

Please note that appointments must be booked in advance.

Our aim is to provide an appointment the same day for urgent cases.

You may consult any of the doctors in the Practice. Urgent cases, especially involving children are always seen on the same day; otherwise you will be offered the first available time. When making an appointment you should be able to see a Health Professional within 24 hours; that is either a doctor or a nurse, and you should be able to see a doctor within 48 hours. This does not include weekends and Bank Holidays. If you wish to see a specific doctor or nurse you should tell the receptionist when booking the appointment. To see a specific doctor could take longer.

The telephone is often very busy, particularly on Monday morning, so please be patient if your call is not answered immediately. You may be asked to hold if we are very busy we will pick up your call again as soon as possible. Appointments are not available at the practice on Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays.

Please try to arrange non-urgent appointments in good time.

The Practice keeps a certain number of appointments each day for emergencies. These are intended for people with acute illness who cannot wait for a routine appointment. If you are given one of these appointments please attend promptly at the time given. Although our aim is that patients should wait no longer than 30 minutes from their appointment time, it is possible that at times you may have to wait a little longer than usual. If this does happen please try to be patient.

Whilst all patients have a right to medical treatment at the Practice, when making an appointment you have a responsibility to keep the appointment and to attend on time. Patients are also urged to telephone the Practice on 08444 773936 to cancel the appointment if they are unable to attend or no longer need to see a doctor or a nurse.

The Practice has facilities for the disabled and an individual hearing loop system for patients with a hearing impairment. When arriving for your appointment please inform the receptionist if this is required.

Phlebotomy clinics are held every morning at The Knoll from 08:30 until Noon

For Kingsley patients only we also hold  a session from 8:30 - 9:30am on Tuesday morning

The treatment room nurse on Wednesday at Kingsley can also take bloods.

For information: We are governed by the collection service which collects from The Knoll at Lunchtime each day.  We need to pack and record all of the various samples we send to the laboratories for testing before they arrive, hence we only carry out thiese tests in the morning.

Please can we ask that when you ring in for results you ring in the afternoon, as it is not as busy on the telephones.

Patient confidentiality:  We can only give results over the phone to the person who has had the test.  If you would like someone else to get your test results we must have your permission before we can disclose them.
